TREKKING ADVENTURES - 1

A 12 day tour to the Eastern Himalayas with 05 days pure semi altitude trek in the West Kameng district of Arunachal covering the Monpa tribal villages. After the trek we also visit the famed Tawang monastery.

 

 

Day 01 : Guwahati-Tezpur (220 km/ 5hr):

Our tour manager will welcome you at Guwahati airport. Later transfer to Tezpur and overnight at hotel Luit or similar.


Day 02 : Tezpur - Bomdila (8500 Ft) (180 km/ 6hr):

Transfer to Bomdila. Overnight at Hotel Siphiangphong or similar.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Day 03 : Bomdila-Thembang: TREK(8 km):

After a short drive to the trekking point we trek to Rahung village to see the Rahungpa tribe. After lunch trek upward to Thembang, one of the oldest Monpa tribal villages. Overnight in Camps at Thembang.

Day 04 : Thembang - Semnak (7800 Ft) (10 km) : TREK:

Trek to Semnak village. Overnight in Camps at Semnak.

Day 05 : Semnak - Lagam (9000 Ft) (12km) : TREK:

Trek to Lagam. Overnight in Camps.

Day 06 : Lagam - Chander (10000 Ft) (15km). : TREK:

Trek to Chander. From Chander Village one can have beautiful views of the Himalayan peaks all around. Overnight in camps.

Day 07 : Chander - Shangti (5500 Ft) (7 km): TREK: Later a short drive to Dirang:

Trek to Shangti. Then take a short drive to Dirang .Overnight at Hotel Pemaling.

Day 08 : Dirang - Tawang (12000 Ft) (150 km):

After breakfast transfer to Tawang. Tawang is a major center of the Mahayana Buddhism. Overnight at hotel Buddha/Samdrupling or similar.

Day 09 : Tawang

Full day sightseeing at Tawang including the famed Tawang Monastery.

Day 10 : Tawang - Bomdila

After breakfast transfer to Bomdila. Evening visit monasteries at Bomdila and also the local market. Overnight at hotel Siphiangphong or similar.

Day 11 : Bomdila - Nameri National Park (160km/ 5hr):

After breakfast transfer to Nameri National Park. Overnight at Eco-Camp, a camp resort located near the sparkling Jia Bhoroli river which forms a boundary to the park.

Day 12 : Nameri – Guwahati Airport (250 km/5 hr):

After breakfast transfer to Guwahati airport for your departure flight.

Price includes: All transfers, accommodations on twin sharing, meals, entry fees, guide charges, driver charges, royalty to the Govt. of Arunachal, Service Tax to Govt. of India etc.

Price does not include: Camera fees, Any Insurance Cover, Expenses arising out of sudden extension of the tour due to natural calamities or political strike & any expenses of personal nature such as tips, drinks etc.
