TREKKING ADVENTURES - 3

A 12 day tour with 5 days pure trek in Eastern most Arunachal Himalayas exploring some remote villages of the Idu Mishimi tribe. Trekking includes a visit to the last Indian tribal village in the region.

 

 

Day 01 : Dibrugarh:

Our tour manager will welcome you upon your arrival at Dibrugarh airport in Eastern Assam. Dibrugarh is an important tea belt in Assam. Overnight in a heritage tea garden bungalow. Rest of the day free at leisure exploring the tea gardens.

Day 02 : Dibrugarh-Roing: (150 Km):
Early morning you can check with the tea pickers how swiftly they pick the one bud two leaves formula if the tea picking season continues. Later after breakfast transfer to Roing in Arunachal.

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

We shall cross the River Lohit by a country made boat. If you are lucky you may come across the endangered Gangetic River Dolphin during your boat ride. Overnight at Roing.

Day 03: Roing-Hunli (90 Km 3hrs):

We spend some time at Roing in the morning. Later transfer to Hunli. Overnight at Hunli.

Day 04 : Hunli-Anini (140km 7hrs):

After breakfast transfer to Anini, headquarter of Dibang Valley. Enroute visit tribal villages like New Anaya, Ranli, Arruju, and Angulin. Overnight in camps at Anini.

Day 05 : Anini-Gipulin (15km/ 3-4hrs) : TREK:

Trek to Gipulin. Enroute visit Arpopo and Mihudo villages. Overnight in camps or a local house of the Idu Mishimi tribe at Gipulin.

Day 06 : Gipulin-Agrimbronlin (6km/ 2hrs) : TREK:

Trek and then cross river Dree through a suspension bridge to reach Agrimbronlin. Overnight in camps or an Idu Mishimi house at Agrimbronlin.

Day 07: Agrimbronlin-Acheson (10km 2-3hrs) : TREK:

Trek to Acheson. This is the last Indian village in this region. Overnight in camps or an Idu Mishimi house at Acheson.

Day 08 : Acheson-Etabe (20 km/5-6hrs) : TREK:

Trek to Etabe. Enroute visit two more Idu Mishimi tribal villages of Alinneh and Ahauli. Overnight in camps or an Idu Mishimi house at Etabe.

Day 09 : Etabe-Amulin- (20km/ 6hrs) : TREK: - Then drive to Italin :

Last day of trek to Amulin. Enroute visit Lawungku and Brawrun villages. Afterwards, drive to Italin. Overnight in camps.

Day 10 : Italin-Roing (170km 8rs):

After breakfast transfer to Roing. Overnight at Roing.

Day 11 : Roing-Dibrugarh:

Transfer to Dibrugarh. Overnight at a heritage tea garden bungalow.

Day 12 : Dibrugarh airport transfer:

Transfer to Dibrugarh airport on time for your departure flight.

Price includes: All transfers, accommodations on twin sharing, meals, entry fees, ferry charges, guide charges, driver charges, royalty to the Govt. of Arunachal, Service Tax to Govt. of India etc.

Price does not include: Camera fees, Any Insurance Cover, Expenses arising out of sudden extension of the tour due to natural calamities or political strike & any expenses of personal nature such as tips, drinks etc.
