 Flamingo Travels &
Adventures (A) Pvt. Ltd., formerly Flamingo Tours & Travels
was set up in January 1999 and has come a long way making a
mark on the tourism scenario of North East India. Its young,
creative and dynamic director Sanjiv Gogoi is a nature
enthusiast and he is leading the company from the front as the
Managing Director. Gayatri (Gogoi) Ryan who is the sister of
Sanjiv Gogoi is our next director. She is a naturalist and
guided tourists in Kaziranga National Park. She and her
husband, John Ryan live in Frankfurt, Germany and are our
European Representatives.
 Our
last but not least director is Abhinanda Sharma Gogoi, wife of
Sanjiv Gogoi. She is a noted dancer of Odissi, the classical
dance of Orissa, and Sattriya, the classical dance of Assam.
She is a knowledgeable person on Indian culture especially
that of the North East. She is the grand daughter of eminent
historian and litterateur of Assam late Benudhar Sharma who
was the president of Assam Sahitya Sabha, the prestigious
literary body of Assam and also the recipients of prestigious
Padmabhushan and Sahitya Akademy awards from the government of
India. Together with her sister Anita Sharma who is also an
eminent classical dancer from Assam, Abhinanda runs a
classical dance school the 'Abhinaya' at Guwahati.
 Apart
from these three directors Flamingo has a team of young,
vibrant, adventurous and highly knowledgeable tourism
professionals who are well trained to give you the very best
experience of the subcontinent's best-kept secret, the North
East of India.
 Flamingo Travels & Adventures is a tour company with a

member of Tour Operators Association of Assam (TOAA), the apex
body of the tour operators of Assam.
