Day 01

Upon arrival at Guwahati airport, you will be welcomed by our tour manager. If time permits, we visit one of the holiest shrines in the country, the temple of Ma Kamakhya, a shakti temple atop Nilachal hills.

Later transfer to the cruise vessel. Lunch on board. The vessel leaves Guwahati and quickly crosses the cityscape. The vessel moors in a little sand island in the late afternoon near Kuruwa. You get to know the crew and the layout of the vessel in the evening. Our Tour Manager will brief you about the journey. Dinner and Overnight onboard.


Day 02

Rising early morning we will take our small boat to explore Kolong River up to Kajoli Choki. After reaching Kajoli Choki we leave the boat and proceed for a land excursion to Mayong and Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary. We go for a safari at Pobitora wildlife sanctuary which has the highest density of the Great Indian One Horned Rhinos. Later we have a village walk in Mayong. We visit the Museum where we can still see the age old manuscripts of Black Magic. After lunch at a tourist lodge we return to our boat at Hatigoar. We finally join our big vessel at Ganesh Pahar where we stay overnight onboard.

Day 03

Early risers can watch the sunrise from the Sun Deck while savoring a cup of freshly brewed tea or walk laps on the Sun Deck before heading to the delectable morning buffet table. During breakfast, you will be cruising through green valleys and blue hills. The landscapes are unrepentantly poetic and romantic. The vessel cruises quietly through the day, and finally takes us to a deserted sand island near Singri. Enjoy the barbeque dinner on the island. Overnight on board.

Day 04

Today we cruise further upstream to reach our next destination - Tezpur, a scenic town with exquisite archaeological ruins. After reaching there, we start exploring the little charming town. We will visit 6th century ruins of the door frame of Da-Parbatia temple, Agnigarh, Bamuni Hill ruins, Mahabhairab temple and the Cole Park. Return to the vessel in the late afternoon and cruise to a deserted sand island near Tezpur for spending the night.

Day 05

We cruise leisurely upstream crossing the Kalia Bhomora Bridge on the river Brahmaputra. We reach our next destination Silghat by noon. Lunch onboard. Later we go for a Jeep Safari in the western range of the famous Kaziranga National Park. Return to our vessel in the evening for the night stay.

The Project Tiger Kaziranga National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the home to the endangered one horned rhinoceros (2048 rhinos as per 2009 census). Besides, the park has several species of mammals and birds. The park has 70% of the world population of the Asiatic Water Buffalos and the Eastern Swamp Deer. The Park has the highest density of the endangered Royal Bengal Tigers in India with a number of 32 tigers per 100 sq.km against 20 in Corbet NP as per a census report in April,2010. Amongst birds, the park has 25 globally threatened bird species.

Day 06

Early in the morning we drive to Kaziranga National Park again for an exciting elephant safari in the central range of the park. The great Indian one-horned Rhinos are easy to see. After an hour’s safari we have our packed breakfast.

Later, we take up a jeep safari covering either the Central or the Eastern range of the park. After safari back to the vessel. Lunch on board and the rest of the day free at leisure.
Dinner and overnight onboard at Silghat.

Day 07

After breakfast disembark the vessel and proceed to Guwahati airport for onward journey.
